It has to be my children's birthdays this year. My daughter turned 1 last March and we had a small celebration at one of our favorite restaurants here in Iloilo (Al Dente). Friends from Manila flew in for the celebration --
We had a guest list of about 50 people and it was so much fun! We were able to talk to everybody and enjoy the food.
My son turned 4 last June and he asked to have his birthday at the same restaurant (Al Dente!) -- on our way to his birthday lunch, we stopped by Toy Kingdom and asked him to choose which toy he wanted. (He chose a Thomas train set.)
Up to now, whenever we pass by the restaurant, he excitedly points to it and says he had a fun birthday there. (He wants his 5th birthday there as well.)
